The best time to steam is when your scalp is clean. If your hair is healthy, you can steam it once a month, but if your hair is very dry, you can steam it every 7-10 days.
Suggested Steam Time: • Short Hair – Up to 5 mins • Medium Hair – Up to 10 mins • Long Hair – Up to 12 mins
Use only distilled water in the steamer to prevent potential mineral build-up, avoid damage, maintain performance, and reduce maintenance needs.
Reactivating your Curls: Instead of fully re-wetting your hair, use the steamer to gently cajole curls into place, stretch styles and reactivate any water-soluble products in your hair for an easy refresh.
Breakage Barrier Hair Mask (Transition Mask)
Steam dry hair first to ease tangles, then apply Transition Mask and use spot steaming. Ingredients like White Tea reduce shedding while Manuka Honey prevents breakage and maintains moisture. After removing protective styles, reapply the mask, use the basket steamer to hydrate roots and detangle with a Wide Tooth Comb or Shower Brush during steaming for better absorption.
