What is the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron?
PATTERN’s first curl-conscious interchangeable curling iron. Designed to empower, enhance & unleash the full potential of your curls, this innovative device boasts 3 distinct clip barrels for a personalized curling experience while safeguarding curls against damage.
What are the temperature settings?
8 settings: 250F, 275F, 300F, 325F, 350F, 375F, 400F, 425F
How do I turn on and off the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron?
Press ON/OFF Button once to turn on, the LED display will light up. Press & hold ON/OFF Button for 2 seconds to turn off.
How do I adjust the temperature settings?
Rotate the Temperature Control Dial left to decrease the temperature and to the right to increase the temperature.
What is the difference between the 3/8”, ¾", 1” Clip Curling Iron?
A ⅜” clip barrel is ideal for creating small curls, coils, & waves, whether using it to define wash n go styles, half up, half down, textured ponytails, or adorning braids & buns with tendrils. A 3/4” clip barrel forms a deep, vintage wave. If you’re looking to achieve a glamorous Hollywood style, choose the ¾” barrel. A 1” clip barrel is the standard & most versatile barrel size. You can create loose waves on shorter hair or beachy waves to full curls on medium to longer hair. Human hair wigs & weaves can be styled into voluminous curls, coils, & waves as well.

Does it have an auto shut-off?
Yes, it automatically shuts off after 60 minutes of non-use.
How long does it take the barrel to heat up?
30 seconds.
Is my appliance UL listed?
Yes.
How do I know when the barrel is done heating up?
The LED display with temperature rating will stop blinking.
How do I switch out the barrels?
Rotate Interlocking Dial to the left to release & pull barrel from handle. Rotate Interlocking Dial to the right to lock & secure barrel .
Will the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron still become hot if the interchangeable mechanism is not locked?
Yes.
Will the barrel fall off if unlocked while styling?
Yes.
Can I use another brand’s attachments on the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron base?
No.
Can I purchase the barrels and base separately?
Not at this time.
Is the Storage Bag heat-resistant?
The inside of the storage bag is heat-resistant.
Cleaning & Maintenance
What type of coating do the barrels have?
Tourmaline Ceramic.
How do I clean the barrels & base?
Wipe with a cloth.
How do I remove stains from hair dyes from the barrel? How do I remove product buildup?
If cleaning becomes necessary, disconnect the unit from the power source and allow it to cool. Wipe the barrel with a soft, damp cloth.
How do I remove stains from the Storage Bag?
The outer material is made from an anti-stain fabric. If the bag becomes dirty, we recommend spot cleaning with warm water and soap.
Is the Storage Bag machine washable?
No, we do not recommend machine washing the Storage Bag.
Is the Storage Bag Water-Resistant or Water-Repellant?
The outer material is water-resistant while the inner material is made of a heat resistant material that can withstand the heat of your styling iron.
Is the Heat Protective Glove machine washable?
The heat protective glove is specifically designed to provide comfort and resistance from the heat of the barrels. We do not recommend washing the glove but instead wiping clean with warm water and soap should it become dirty.

Will the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron turn on if the interchangeable mechanism is not locked?
Yes.
Where is the serial number located?
The serial number is located on the rating plate, which can be found on the handle of the curling iron.
Can I purchase this curling iron from outside of the U.S.?
Unfortunately at this time, our Interchangeable Curling Iron is not available for sale outside of the U.S.
Will the curling iron be available for purchase on PATTERN Beauty Pro at their standard discounted price as well?
No, it will not be available to PATTERN Beauty Pro at a discount at this time.
Can I use the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron in other countries outside of the U.S.?
Yes. This curling iron has a universal voltage. It will automatically adjust to the proper voltage.
How should I use the PATTERN Interchangeable Curling Iron internationally?
Use an adapter plug with correct configuration prior to use in the outlet.
Why is there an ERR message on the LED Display?
An error message will appear on the display screen if the handle is plugged in without an attachment. Before plugging in your curling iron, be sure to attach and lock a barrel into place.

What is the warranty?
2-year Warranty.
What does the warranty cover?
It only applies to the Curling Iron and it’s barrel attachments. It does not cover any of the liquids, non-electrical attachments or accessories, and only applicable for purchases made in the U.S. and Canada.
Do you repair or refurbish tools?
Not at this time.
Is there a warranty on just the barrels?
PATTERN Beauty will replace, at our discretion, your appliance within 24 months from the date of purchase if the appliance proves defective in workmanship or materials.
What is our warranty policy?
Limited 2-year warranty only applicable for U.S. and Canada purchasers. PATTERN Beauty will replace, at our sole discretion, your appliance for 24 months from the date of purchase if the appliance proves defective in workmanship or materials. This limited warranty does not cover 1) damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to following enclosed instructions 2) tampering, such as repair or attempt to repair 3) damage caused by connecting accessories (e.g. nozzles, diffusers etc.) supplied by other manufacturers 4) normal wear and tear. This limited warranty only applies to genuine PATTERN Beauty products purchased through PATTERN-approved retailers, and does not cover products repaired or serviced by anyone other than PATTERN personnel or PATTERN representatives.
