At the top of 2021, we kicked off the “Celebrate Your Roots” campaign here at PATTERN.
Naturals from all over the globe showed us in1-minute videos and photos how families styled their beautiful natural hair. They showed us grandma braiding their hair, a dad combing his daughter’s hair, mom twisting her son’s hair, and how auntie styles her niece's coils.

This was our first time soliciting our PATTERN community for brand campaign content. This has been an exciting opportunity for PATTERN followers and the natural hair community to share their heritage and the beauty of the haircare process.

Do you have to use pattern products on the video or show in the pictures? Or do you just style the hair ?

So Ive been a member of Pattern for a few months now and Im absolutely in love with the products. So since Ive been so happy with this I decided to try other items from Pattern. I tried the Mist Sprayer to refresh my curls through out the day. Unfortunately I have been dissappointed. Not with the product actually but with the actual spray bottle. I have returned it twice in hopes it was a fluke but it hasn’t. Im still on the same first bottle that I can’t use because the sprayer is defective somehow. I have returned it and tried it at the store before leaving, It will work for like 2 pumps and then stop, This I dont notice until I get home because I test it at the store, I have swapped the sprayer with other products I have here at home and it works but then Im out the other product because it now has no sprayer, As simple as this sounds its quite annoying that I can’t use this Mist Spray because of the nozzle, For now it just sits on the counter until I can find time to make another trip to ULTA. Wont be for a while, Is there anything you can do to resolve this issue? Has any reported the same problem. I thought it was important to let you because I truly love my Pattern Products but this one I can’t seem to use because all I can get out of it is a pump or two, Perhaps you can help, Thanks in advance.
Dear Ms. Ellis Ross, I just lost my best friend, Richard, to Covid 19 on Dec. 22, 2020. I am telling you this because I am still dealing with the shock and grief…..but just read about the Celebrate Our Roots campaign. Part of my healing will definitely include submitting a photo of him trimming my hair before our gospel concert many years ago in Zurich, Switzerland.
