"I keep reaching for the Styling Custard over and over (even tho I need to try more Pattern products that I already bought) because it feels so kind to my scalp. It lets me painlessly change up hairstyles with tight twists at all angles and directions while maintaining the shape and shine of the twists & braids, it can rain on my head at work with no changes. And not crusty or gummy. And protects with oils or slip in such a way that I can literally brush out some twists the next day without my scalp protesting. I have never experienced a holding product that plays so well with water. It is literally friends with water, hot steam, humidity, I can wash dishes and not have to protectively wrap my hair first.
